PROMISE OF CHRIST'S RETURN

Being the Apostle Paul just reminded the Thessalonian Church about a PRE RAPTURE, I believe, 5:1 is speaking to the Thessalonian Church believers/readers today....
~BUT concerning the times and seasons, BRETHREN, you have no need that I should write to you.
For you YOURSELVES KNOW PERFECTLY that the DAY OF THE LORD so comes as a thief in the night.
The DAY OF THE LORD is a FUTURE TIME referred to by many O.T. prophets.
That day begins IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH and ends with the conclusion of the Millennium.
So the DAY OF THE LORD will come as a SURPRISE to those on the earth(unbelievers) like the visit of a THIEF to a sleeping homeowner.
This day will begin with the signing of the seven-year covenant ..Daniel 9:27..so please note, the Apostle Paul DID NOT INCLUDE HIMSELF or his READERS would see the DAY OF THE LORD, as he did reminding them of the rapture..
So THEM mentioned refers to those left behind in the rapture,and they will be IGNORANTLY expecting the PEACE AND SAFETY, but DESTRUCTION will come upon THEM..
But 5:4 refers back to the Thessalonian Church/readers today:
But YOU, BRETHREN, ...ARE NOT IN DARKNESS, so that this DAY(tribulation period with rapture to end of Mill) should overtake you as a thief.
YOU are all SON OF LIGHT and SONS OF THE DAY. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Prophecy Appears: Rivers Flow From Jerusalem Into the Dead Sea
According to the Bible, the landscape changed with the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, which turned the valley into a wasteland. The Bible also describes the area as fertile and well-watered in its narrative of Lot looking out onto the valley where the Dead Sea is now:
And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of the Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere, before Hashem destroyed Sdom and Gomorrah, like the garden of Hashem. (Genesis 13:10)
Indeed, Biblical prophecy also holds that water will flow east from Jerusalem into the Dead Sea, filling it up with fish and the surrounding desert with life:
“Then said he unto me: ‘These waters issue forth toward the eastern region and shall go down into the Arabah; and when they shall enter into the sea into the sea of the putrid waters the waters shall be healed. And it shall come to pass that every living creature wherewith it swarmeth whithersoever the rivers shall come shall live; and there shall be a very great multitude of fish; for these waters are come thither that all things be healed and may live whithersoever the river cometh.” (Ezekiel 47:8-9)
