World War 3: The four biggest conflicts in the world right now that could trigger war
World War 3: The four biggest conflicts in the world right now that could trigger war
The Signs of World Politics — The
Bible prophesies that there will be a certain pattern of world politics
that will characterize the end time geopolitical map.
The focus will be the re-established state of Israel (Zechariah 12:2-3). It will be besieged by a menacing nation from the “remote parts of the north,” the nation of “Rosh” — or modern day Russia (Ezekiel 38:2,6). There will also be a threatening nation to the East that will be capable of sending an army of 200 million — namely, China (Revelation 9:13-16 and Revelation 16:12-13).
A third source of danger to Israel will be the Arab nations that
immediately surround it. They will covet the land and will try to take
it from the Jews (Ezekiel 35:10 and 36:2).
Another key player on the world political scene in
the end times will be a coalition of European nations that will form a
confederation centered in the area of the old Roman empire (Daniel 2:41-44, Daniel 7:7,23-24, and Revelation 17:12-13).
This confederation will serve as the political base for the rise of the
Anti-Christ and the creation of his worldwide kingdom (Daniel 7:8).
Other international political signs include wars and rumors of wars (Matthew 24:6), civil wars (Matthew 24:7), and general international terrorism and lawlessness (Matthew 24:12).
World War 3 concerns are a developing concern amongst some people,
as international relations have soured in recent years, opening up
opportunities for conflict in countries around the world. Whether
conflicts are a bitter exchange of words or physical blows, some of them
come with grave implications. India vs Pakistan India and Pakistan are
neighbours […]
Matthew
24:36 Keep on Watching and Be Ready for Christ's
Return
The State of Israel
The first is the re-establishment of the state of
Israel which occurred on May 14, 1948. Jesus singled out this event as
the one that would signal His soon return.
His prophecy is contained in the fig tree parable (Matthew 24:32-35)
which He presented in His Olivet Discourse. The day before He delivered
this speech, He had put a curse on a barren fig tree, causing it to
wither (Matthew 21:18-19).
This was a symbolic prophecy that God would soon pour out His wrath
upon the Jewish people because of their spiritual barrenness in
rejecting His Son.
The next day Jesus reminded His disciples of the fig
tree. He said to watch for it to bloom again. In other words, He said
watch for the rebirth of Israel. He indicated that when the fig tree
blooms again, He would be at the gates of Heaven, ready to return (Matthew 24:33).
Equally significant, He added an interesting observation: “Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place” (Matthew 24:34). What generation? The generation that sees the fig tree blossom.
We are that generation. The fig tree has blossomed. Jesus is at the gates.
Are you ready? If Jesus were to return today, would He be your “Blessed Hope” (Titus 2:11-14) or would He be your “Holy Terror” (Revelation 6:12-17)?
If you have never received Him as your Lord and Savior, now is the time
to act. Repent of your sins, and call upon the name of the Lord that
you might be saved (Acts 2:14-39).
And if you are a Christian, are you living as if
Jesus might return any minute? Have you committed your life to holiness?
Are you praying for the lost and witnessing for the Lord when you have
an opportunity?
Are you yearning for the Lord’s return? Can you say with Paul that you are a candidate for a “crown of righteousness” because you have lived your life “in the love of His appearing” (2 Timothy 4:7-8)?
Matthew
24:36 Keep on Watching and Be Ready for Christ's
Return
Only the Father Knows
when Jesus will Return
Jesus stated clearly and
emphatically that no one knows the day and hour when
He will return except His heavenly Father. "But of
that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels
of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone"
(Matthew 24:36). The return of Jesus Christ is near,
even at the door, like a thief in the night. He may
come through the door any moment. But let's make it
very clear, "No one knows that day or hour."
History is littered with
individuals who think they know more than Jesus.
Yesterday was no exception, and there will be more
who will come out of the closet before Christ
returns. God the Father did not leave the door ajar
for some arrogant Bible student with a calculator or
computer or some Bible code through whom to reveal
the date of Jesus' return. He emphatically said: No
one knows the day or the hour when I shall return.
Only the Father knows and He has chosen not to
reveal the day or hour.
Jesus Christ will return
to gather His elect and judge the world. Because we
do not know when that time will be, therefore we
must be ready.
Are you ready for
second coming of Jesus Christ?
Let me share you how you
can be right with God. God loves you and wants you
to experience His peace and life. He desires to have
a lasting intimate love relationship with you. The
Bible says, "For God so loved the world, that He
gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in
Him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John
3:16).
God loves you so much
that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for you.
Christ did this by paying the penalty of our sins
when He died on the cross and rose from the grave.
The Bible says, "For while we were still helpless,
at the right time Christ died for the ungodly . . .
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that
while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us"
(Romans 5:6, 8).
But your know what? We
have a severe problem. We are separated from God
because we choose to disobey Him. The Bible says,
"For all have sinned and fall short Romans 3:23).
Nothing we can do will get us across the gulf that
separates us from God. Good works, church
membership, baptism are all short bridges to
nowhere. Our problem is serious. We are not capable
of saving ourselves. We are so sinful that we cannot
reach up to God. He is holy and we are depraved
sinners. You see, that is exactly why God sent His
Son to die in our place. "God made Jesus who knew no
sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become
the righteousness of God in Him" (2 Corinthians
5:21). "For the wages of sin is death, but the
free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our
Lord" (Romans 6:23)
God is offering you the
free gift of salvation or eternal life. It is a gift
that was paid in full by Jesus Christ when He died
in your place on the cross. You can do nothing to
merit it or earn it. To try to pay for it is an
insult to the grace of God. "For by grace you have
been saved through faith; and that not of
yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result
of works, so that no one may boast" (Ephesians
2:8-9).
How are you saved? How do
you receive eternal life? The Bible is very clear
"that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord,
and believe in your heart that God raised Him from
the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a
person believes, resulting in righteousness, and
with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation"
(Romans 10:9-10).
It is not psyching
yourself up to some emotional experience. We are
saved by simple faith in Christ. We take God at His
own word when He says, "Believe on the Lord Jesus
Christ and you shall be saved." You know everything
you need to know to be saved. Take God at His word
and trust Jesus Christ right now.
Will you turn from your
sins and unbelief and by faith receive Jesus Christ
into your heart and life? You can use the following
prayer if it comes from your heart. "Lord Jesus, I
am a sinner. I know that I cannot save myself. I now
believe that Christ died in my place on the cross in
order to forgive me of my sins. I know that Christ
rose from the dead and lives today. I confess my
sins to you, and I repent and put my faith in you to
save me. I want You to save me for all eternity.
Thank you for giving me eternal life. Amen."
Some individuals will
experience a great deal of emotion of joy or sense
of forgiveness or deep inner peace. The Bible says,
"Therefore having been justified by faith, we have
peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ"
(Romans 5:1). "There is therefore now no
condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus"
(Romans 8:1).
